About EDCI

The Economic Development Corporation of Illinois (EDCI) is a 501 (c)(3) and is a recognized community leader in the field of local communities economic development.

The mission of EDCI is to provide access of capital and technical assistance to low-to-moderate income areas as well as LGBT, minority, women, and veteran-owned businesses in Illinois. We provide flexible and affordable financing for businesses that currently do not meet typical bank underwriting criteria. Additionally, we will help these companies via technical assistance to maintain their growth and profitability. 

Here at EDCI, we recognize the need to create jobs in underprivileged income areas throughout Illinois.

Our founders are keen on social advocacy and public service, and together have over 60 years of experience in the field of community Development.
